COVID-19 has been an unforgettable time in our lives. It has changed our communities in unimaginable ways and has yielded many learning lessons for us all. Take a minute to think about the things that you have accomplished- whether it is working from home, tending to your garden, staying physically and mentally active, homeschooling your children. We also thank our frontline workers today and everyday, your job has helped our communities stay safe at home. Our communities have banded together to support one another, showing that we are one team, Team Canada. In York Region we have seen individuals of all ages address needs of the community by volunteering at food banks, delivering meals, sewing masks, and donating PPE to name a few, demonstrating that we are all in this together.
