Main streets are an important part of growing the Canadian economy and supporting local communities.

The Stouffville Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate the successful Village applicants on each receiving a My Main Street non-repayable funding contribution of $10,000.

The businesses are:

The funding allows these Village businesses to build on the market research provided by My Main Street to drive economic growth and attract new customers to their businesses and the Stouffville Village community.

The ten businesses represent a broad range within the small business community and include restaurants, health-focused studios, retail stores and artisan inspired gift shops. As part of the My Main Street program, each business received a detailed, custom research report that has allowed them to better understand the local community and its needs. As part of their road to success, the businesses are tailoring their products and services to the Main Street community.

The My Main Street, Local Business Accelerator program is delivered by the Economic Developers Council of Ontario with an overall Government of Canada investment of $23.25 million through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) to support the recovery and strength of main streets and local businesses in southern Ontario.

On behalf of the Stouffville Village business community, the Stouffville Chamber of Commerce would like to thank the Government of Canada, FedDev Ontario and the Economic Developers Council of Ontario for supporting our local businesses.
